So important for there to be good male role models and most importantly Fathers to play an active role in the lives of their children.

I met Emma quite a few years ago now when she was first getting support from UK Youth through our partnership with O2 Think Big.  She has created something really needed and valuable in Daddy Cool – I have no doubt she’ll continue to drive it forward with determination

A 'Daddy Cool' doesn't have to be a biological father; he can be a stepfather, uncle, grandfather, big brother, faith leader, godfather, teacher, youth worker, mentor. He could be you. Children and young people need positive male role models, as much as they need positive female role models. They are there in our communities but often we focus on what's missing rather than what we already have. Let's shine a light on all the men who are great role models. And, yes, let's also call for more to come forward to fill in the gaps.

I had small interaction with my dad, but the little knowledge that he gave me when I did see him, still stuck with me to this day....

I support The Daddy Cool Project

Right from the onset I have been a huge fan of The Daddy Cool Project. This innovative & vitally important initiative has had a very positive impact.

It is one of those very crucial issues which goes unnoticed and the project tackles these issues head on. You don't have to be a father to notice how beneficial this movement has been to the community
